It is always such an indescribable joy when I’m able to celebrate a brand launch with one of my sweet design clients, and the reveal I’m sharing today is extra sweet because of the darling Bethanne Arthur! Bethanne actually reached out to me months before we started working together to inquire about my branding services. Although the timing wasn’t quite right, she let me know that I would be hearing from her again in the future.

Fast forward to a few months from that initial inquiry, when I ran into her at the March Creative at Heart Conference in Virginia! We exchanged hugs, and chatted enthusiastically about branding after my presentation, and I told myself that I was so lucky to have such incredibly sweet boss ladies interested in working with me. So when Bethanne let me know she was ready to move forward with a rebrand, my little heart was just jumping for joy!

Bethanne and I worked together to create a new logo, coordinating alternate logo and watermark designs for her photography business. Her love for pink, feminine details and her desire to incorporate such personal touches, like her own signature for blog use, made this entire project such a breeze!

Bethanne wanted to create a fresh logo for her work that was equal parts elegance, approachability and femininity. Through this romantic color palette, we integrated soft, versatile hues that will translate well throughout her online and print presence, as well as her packaging. We opted for a classic mix of strong serif and whimsical script fonts for an approachable aesthetic that would stand the test of time.

For her circular watermark, we created a simple design that can easily be transformed into a wax seal, as well. Bethanne also commissioned me to digitize her signature for use throughout her blog and other online materials, which is one personal touch that I absolutely love! The flowing lines of her own lettering pairs so well with the secondary script in her logo, I think.

While I was in Europe last week, Bethanne actually celebrated her full brand reveal, as well as the launch of her beautiful new website! She has done such a gorgeous job at incorporating the color palette, logo designs, and overarching visual theme we created throughout her entire website.
