Floral details, feminine calligraphy-inspired scripts, and a sweet color palette filled with greys and rose tones — does it get any better than this, y’all? I’m so thrilled to celebrate my branding client Virginia of Virginia Greene Photography as she launches her brand new website and full visual re-brand this week! Friends, it’s not everyday that you get to work with a woman as sweet and caring as Virginia. And I couldn’t have been more honored to walk alongside her throughout this branding journey as we dug deep into the core of her brand to create an updated visual identity that serves her well for years to come!
Before we started working together, Virginia shared that, “I felt such a disconnect from my brand and it was showing up in my business. My brand felt young and unprofessional and not beautiful, unique, and inviting like I wanted.”
Virginia is a talented photographer who offers wedding, engagement, and family portraits out of the Atlanta-area. And as we started working together, we focused on crafting a visual brand that reflects Virginia’s level of experience and speaks to her ideal clients from different walks of life with intention!
Together, we crafted a cohesive new color palette that ties in soft neutrals and subtle rose tones. From there, I pulled in inspiration from Virginia’s images and noted that gorgeous florals and lovely outdoor settings are front and center in the majority of her images. Being outdoors and shooting in natural light is such a huge part of her process that I wanted to tie in botanical elements that speak to this aspect of her experience. And I just love the way the subtle hints of florals peek out from behind her initials!
In addition to crafting a refreshed logo and coordinating marks, I designed a custom Showit 5 website for Virginia to serve as her brand’s new online home. With the different types of sessions she offers, we knew that we wanted to create a site that was easy to navigate and made it easy for potential clients to self-select their journey. Designing with images as lovely as Virginia’s made my job a total breeze, friend!
But more than the gorgeous visuals we designed together, I’m so proud of how Virginia dove deep into the brand strategy work we did together to experience a truer sense of clarity when it comes to the core of her brand. She shared, “Before this process, I really had no idea what to say to my audience about the heart behind my work. Now I know exactly. I want my clients to know that I understand them and that I want to provide them with images that they can treasure for a lifetime – whether that’s a bride, a family in a sweet season of life, or a small business owner who needs beautiful images to showcase their work!”
On top of that, I was blown away to hear that even in the days leading up to her site launch Virginia saw an increase in bookings. All from revealing sneak peeks of her new logo and fresh website!
In her own words, Virginia says, “You need Bonnie for your branding experience. This has hands down been the best investment I have ever made for my business. If you’re trying to decide between other business expenses (like camera equipment) and this, choose this! If you don’t have the right branding, what good will that equipment be if you aren’t bringing in clients? In my opinion, professional branding should be your number one priority and there’s no one I would recommend more than Bonnie. Her work and expertise has been so worth the investment.”
Virginia, it was an absolute joy working with you and I’m cheering you on from Waco every step of the way!
