Building brands that authentically convert doesn’t have to be a process of trial and error, sweet friend. And it most definitely doesn’t have to be some mysterious approach that you have to really work to achieve. Instead, building brands that convert can be a seamless approach that delivers results and impacts your client’s bottom line time and time again.

This week, I’m starting to peel back the curtain on my signature brand development process to show you as a fellow brand designer and strategist just how I deliver lasting results for my clients!

My Formula For Building High-End Brands That Convert

I’m going to be hopping on a live training this week and next week to walk you through just how I implement my brand strategy process to really create those elevated brands that my clients absolutely love.

From brands that really book an ideal client within 24 hours of launching to brands that authentically impact my client’s bottom line, I am humbled to work 1:1 with my branding clients to build visual identities and craft strong strategies that really yield results.

And today, I want to walk you through the foundation to my approach that will yield dramatic results for you and your clients as well.

This formula really hinges on guiding your clients through an intentional brand strategy process that goes deeper.

You see, here is the deal–over the years I’ve worked 1:1 with designers just like you through mentoring and also guiding students through my Brand Strategy School courses, I’ve noticed one common mistake when it comes to the brand strategy process that designers keep making.

And that is they only go so deep with their clients.

In fact, I would argue that they focus on just the surface-level and so, as a result, designers aren’t taking their clients deep enough into the strategy side of the branding process.

Instead of getting intentional, quality replies that define the very heart of your client’s brand you are getting brief discovery worksheets or surface-level answers and building brands on only half the information.

Sweet friend, we have to choose to flip the script and take a different approach that’s going to deliver different results.

Create An Approach That Delivers Results

When I guide my clients through my signature brand process, I am taking them deep. Rather than settling for the easy answers that come to the top of their head or skimming over the work, I sit with my clients and we peel back the layers of the very core of their brand.

We do that through their vision, mission, core values and their differentiators.

Then I can design with intention.

All of this homework and intentional responses that my clients share with me really influences the design decisions that I can make. Then we take it even further.

I study their ideal client so that I can craft a brand that woos their ideal client from day one. And on top of that, we craft an overall brand message so they can draw in those ideal clients every time they post on Instagram, write a blog post or create a weekly newsletter.

How To Deepen The Impact Of Your Work

After creating this signature brand development process over six years ago and guiding my clients through it, I immediately saw different results because I chose to do the whole process differently.

I was able to go from being like every other talented designer out there to a brand strategist and designer with a proven one-of-a-kind approach that delivers results for my clients.

And, because of that, I realized I could market my work differently. I could guide my clients through a process that equips them with a clear brand strategy. But more than that, I was able to deepen the impact of my work more than I ever could have imagined.

Because instead of just creating beautiful logos, I was able to build purposeful brands that was founded on a clear sense of purpose.
