I can’t tell you the number of times people ask my how I “do it all!” Which is when I have to laugh and kindly tell them that I don’t. Not by a long shot! But what I do take on is only made better by the women who are a part of my small team. Together, we are able to serve our clients even better, discover new ways to chase after our goals, and they give me the space to pour into my highest points of contribution within my business! And I am so excited to slowly begin introducing them to you in the months ahead. And what better place to start than with my right-hand gal, Marieanna?
Oh, friends, I have been waiting to share this exciting news with y’all for months now! When Marieanna joined my team back in February, I instantly knew she was the perfect person to help serve our clients with heart, professionalism, and grace. As Client Delight Specialist, she handles everything from onboarding new clients to Pinterest strategy to streamlining our backend systems to ensure we can serve our clients so well! And I honestly have no idea how I went six years in business without her.
So today, I’m thrilled to be able to finally introduce you to this sweet Wisconsin gal! From her love of red wine, the great outdoors, and snuggles with her sweet pup, I secretly think we might be long lost best friends.

Tell us about yourself!
Hi friends! I’m Marieanna. Your Jesus-lovin, puppy-obsessed, sun-chasing Midwestern girl who’s lucky enough to be a part of the incredible b is for bonnie design team. While growing up in a small town in Wisconsin, I had NO idea what career I wanted to pursue. But I knew that in some way, I wanted to shine God’s love and help other women in business.
After graduating from Winona State with a public relations and marketing degree I jumped head first into corporate America and quickly found that the ad agency and event planning life wasn’t for me. After a lot of soul searching, dreaming big, and chasing those dreams with God at the center of it all I was brought to the beautiful b is for bonnie design team.
What are you currently reading (or listening to)?
I hate to admit it, but I’m definitely one of those girls who has at LEAST 5 books going at once. I’m not really ashamed about it, but it definitely dubs me the “nerd” in my friend group!
Nothing starts my day better than a big cup of coffee and some quiet time reading a devotional before diving into any sort of work. I just finished Chasing Slow by Erin Loechner and Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst. BOTH are beyond amazing and have helped me start my day in a mindset of “less is more”. (Something I think is such an important mindset to have as an entrepreneur.)
During lunch time or before bed reads I currently am obsessed with young adult fiction! I’m currently in the middle of the series To All The Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Han and The Gender Gamesby Bella Forrest. Next up I’m diving back into Harry Potter. It’s been years since I’ve read each book cover to cover and with the cold months quickly approaching, I’m craving some Christmas at Hogwarts!
As for podcasts I am also a bit obsessed. I’ve got too many shows to on my playlist to share, but my weekly favorites are—Erwin McManus, The Goal Digger Podcast and Marketing Your Business.
What’s inspiring you lately?
To live a slower life. Back in April, I left my corporate event planning job in search of a slower life. A life that could be the foundation to a future family, less stress, and more time spent with my husband. A lifestyle where at any time of the day I could go home to my parents house and spend the day with a family that means the world to me. Going from the hustle of a corporate event planning job to this slower lifestyle has shown me the beauty in this life I was often overlooking. That inspires me to put my phone down more, be more present in conversations, and to capture memories without the assistance of pictures.
What’s your go-to order at your favorite coffee shop?
In the summertime, iced vanilla bean coffee. In the winter, I love basic black coffee. About a year ago my husband and I did Whole30 in which we cutout all sugar and had to drink our coffee black. Ever since, my tastebuds just can’t handle added sugar to my coffee on a regular basis. So I’m about as basic as basic can get when ordering coffee!
What’s your favorite aspect of being a part of the b is for bonnie design team?
How do I even put this into words?! ALL OF IT! I think my most favorite of all aspects about being a part of the b is for bonnie design team is that Bonnie is EXACTLY how she portrays herself to be online. It’s hard to find someone as genuine and full of grace as Bonnie. I think so often we think we “know” others in the industry simply by their Instagram, but then when we meet them in person, it’s not always the same. With Bonnie, she is exactly the person she claims to be throughout all areas of her business. Not only is that incredible for her clients, but also for her team. Every morning, I love to wake up knowing that I’m working with such a genuine person and together we are trying to impact more and more women’s lives through the work that we do.
I couldn’t live without…my husband, and my black-and-white spotted puppy, and my kitty, and gummie bears too.
What are your favorite Instagram accounts to follow right now?
Hands down Erin Loechner. Every single day this beautiful soul has some piece of encouragement to help me understand that life is too short for the hustle. Instead, it’s about finding the little things that make us happy without “busying” our time with the things that don’t. I honestly hop on Instagram every single day eager to see the message she is sharing that day and for a quick reminder to simplify life.
I also love following Dale Partridge. Business intrigues me SO much and Dale is hands down one of the smartest businessmen I know. (Look up his entire business background. It’s insane!) His faith, love for his wife, and business expertise is always some of my favorite to read about when he pops into my Instagram feed.
If you could pass along one piece of encouragement to a fellow boss lady, what would it be?
Believe you can fly love. Believe that your unique talent is needed in this world. And don’t try to do what everyone else is doing. Do what only you can do. That’s when you will feel the most impact with the work that you do!
