Remember when I oh-so-excitedly announced the Illume Retreat a few months back? Well, I can hardly believe that in a few short months, so many talented creative minds will be gathered together at Travaasa Austin for two days of learning, building community, and finding rest. From the talented line up of speakers and creative sessions leaders, to the diverse group of attendees who have punched fear in the face and said a big “Yes!” to pursuing their dreams, this promises to be such a sweet time of learning and laughter for all.

In addition to organizing this retreat, I am absolutely thrilled to share my heart with our attendees both days through presentations geared to addressing two topics I feel so passionately about – heartfelt branding, and pursuing balance and boundaries in business. As a brand designer, I’ve seen businesses and entrepreneurs approach the concept of building a strong brand from a variety of angles. But it’s my hope that through strategic planning and authentic messaging, we can create heartfelt brands that add value to not only the lives of those we serve, but also to the lives of those we love.

During my branding presentation, I’ll delve into what the term “branding” really means to the modern business owner. I’ll also be sharing the value an authentic brand promises to bring you, as well as lay out actionable steps we can all take to create a more heartfelt brand. I truly believe that by giving our brands purpose, and infusing them with authenticity, we have the unique opportunity to share something that provides true value to our clients. Not to mention, is a genuine reflection of our core values and big heart!

But we’ll be covering so much more than just branding during the Illume Retreat, friends. The heart behind this retreat is to create a space that is not only restful, but offers practical information to build more purposeful, heart-filled businesses.
