Happy Friday, friends! I’m delighted to introduce y’all to the the incredibly talented Shellie over at Silk & Willow. Shellie specializes in plant-dyed silk ribbons that are the epitome of romantic, organic details that will complete any wedding, styled shoot or event! I personally love incorporating unexpected details into a styled shoot, like textures or hues that wouldn’t necessarily be utilized in real life. I think they have the power to add an element of definition, femininity and softness to a vignette or tablescape!

I reached out to Shellie before our styled shoot to see if she would contribute a few spools of her incredibly beautiful silk ribbons. She so graciously agreed, and sent over hues of grey, blush, white in all sorts of textures and sizes!

From the beautiful wooden spools to the thoughtfully assembled packages, Shellie leaves no detail untouched when it comes to customer experience! Receiving a package from her is just about as exciting as Christmas morning, if we’re being honest.

Her attention to detail, married with her desire to repurpose all sorts of organic elements to create her dyes, results in a product that any creative can truly get excited about.
