Last Friday, I got to celebrate some of my favorite women here in Waco with a fun, free evening of yoga, community and laughter at The Yoga Bar as part of LIVELY‘s Heart Your Girls Day! About 10 of us gathered at The Yoga Bar downtown to catch up, celebrate one another, and unwind at the end of a busy workweek with some relaxing yoga.

The team at one of my favorite intimates companies, LIVELY, reached out to me a few weeks ago to see if I’d be interested in putting together an event to highlight some of my best gals. Never one to turn down a chance at free yoga or an excuse to get together with women I truly admire and respect, I jumped at the chance! I suggested we opt for an evening yoga class so we could come together to do something positive and uplifting for our minds, spirits and bodies. And the entire team at The Yoga Bar went above and beyond to ensure that our group had an amazing time together!

LIVELY sent over a personalized goody bag for each woman, and Kelsey lead us through a restful heated Un-Wind class, which ended up being the perfect tempo for new and practiced yogis alike.  There was something incredibly positive about ending the workweek with an hour of uninterrupted personal time, getting in touch with your breath, and focusing on your body. Although I certainly didn’t consider myself to be stressed when I entered into the classroom, I definitely left feeling lighter, more joyful and refreshed.

As a business owner and content creator, I take my brand partnerships very seriously. If I am ever going to recommend a product, service or company to y’all, I want to be able to stand behind them 100 percent. I chose to partner with LIVELY for this event because I am truly supportive of their mission to empower, not to entice through their unique line of lingerie. This brand focuses on creating products to empower women to feel confident, beautiful and worthy in their own skin. Through crazy comfy bralettes, bras and undies, they strive to create items that are “inspired by women with wild hearts and boss brains.” I’m raising all the praise hands over here in support, y’all!

This mission is so close to my own heart, and my own brand exists to remind you that your story is worthy and valuable. Whether you can be reminded of that through a product you purchase, or through a service you invest in, my hope is that you are reminded of this truth everywhere you turn during your day-to-day, sweet friend.

Last week, I was honored to gather together with friends new and old alike to remind them that I value and respect each and every one of them. Although I may not have been able to invite you to take a yoga class with me to that same effect, I want to take today as the perfect opportunity to remind you that I see you right where you are. Whether we’ve met face-to-face or we’re brought together thanks to the internet, I want you to walk confidentially into your workweek knowing that you are valued, respected and more than worthy.
