3 ways to accelerate your business growth

May 31, 2019

Let’s talk about courses, sweet friend. Is it just me, or does it feel like these days everyone you know has a new course popping up to help you uplevel your business in someway? As a life-long learner, I love seeing so many incredible courses available, but sometimes I struggle to know which course is right for me in this current season of my business.

And I know I’m not alone.

I myself have taken my fair share of courses and don’t even get me started on the number of books I’ve read. But I do these things because I believe as an entrepreneur it is our responsibility to continue to learn and grow in order to best serve our ideal clients. And it’s been an honor for me—through the Brand Strategy School—to offer my heart in the form of a course to fellow brand designers and strategist as well.

Even as an expert brand designer and strategist in my industry, there are still areas of my business that I need to continue to learn and grow in, too. For example, I would love to continue to learn how to grow and leverage the Brand Strategy Podcast as a resource for fellow designers and creatives. I want to continue to uplevel our Pinterest strategy to reach even more of my ideal branding clients and focus on SEO basics for the b is for bonnie design blog.

3 ways to accelerate your business growth

I believe there is so much value in research and bettering yourself. But I think as every business owner grows—and I’ve seen this to be true in my own business—there comes a point when you simply need to invest in yourself by inviting someone along in your journey.

Here are three reasons why I believe you should invest in yourself in this season:

If you’re not learning, you may become content in the wrong areas of your business.

It could take you longer to get where you want to go than if you invited someone to join you in your business journey.

Action comes from moving forward, and I believe that action will help create more clarity in your life and in your business.

You can invest in 1:1 services and mentoring in order to get to a similar place as your mentor is in life and in business. Or you can invest in courses to teach you a new skill or guide you through a proven process. You can even invest in group coaching to refine your goals and create clarity in your brand and offerings.

There are so many different quality educational resources out there, but it’s important you define your definition of success first so you can choose the type of quality education that will align with your big picture vision.

Take it even one step further and identify your goals in this specific season of you business and then research for educational opportunities to help you reach those goals.
