grab the tortilla chips, pop a lime wedge in that margarita and let's make some salsa, friend!

You'll need:

After chopping and dicing to your heart's content, add all ingredients together in a small mixing bowl and season generously with fresh lime juice, salt, and black pepper.

If you're crunched on time, you can also add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse to your desired consistency. I opt for a chunkier dice for a more hefty salsa but that's totally personal preference!

Cover with plastic wrap and pop in the fridge for flavors to meld for 30 minutes to an hour. Serve with tortilla chips or your go-to taco recipe, homemade margaritas, and the company of good friends!

This recipe makes enough for four people.

4 firm Roma tomatoes, seeds removed and diced

1/2 red onion, diced

2 serrano chiles, seeds removed and diced (use 1 chile for milder salsa)

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime (add more if you prefer a more citrus-y taste!)

1 clove minced garlic

Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
