Happy Friday, friends! I’m pleased as can be to introduce a new series to the blog. If you follow along on Instagram, you may have noticed I’ve been hinting at a new series featuring fantastic small shops and amazing products! As a small business owner, I love supporting handmade products from talented artisans and designers, and I always love discovering new places to shop. In a world where mass-produced pieces are the norm, there’s something refreshing about purchasing a hand painted watercolor print or one-of-a-kind bracelet. This series is all about supporting small shops, celebrating beautiful products and sharing my finds with you lovely folks. So without further ado, let me introduce y’all to the darling Evelyn Henson!
If you haven’t stumbled across Evelyn’s shop yet you are in for such a treat, my friend! Evelyn holds fast to the motto that, “painting is a celebration of life!” and it shines through in all she does. From her vibrant prints to oh-so-chic lucite trays, there’s a little something for every girl in her shop.
The bookshelves in our home are equally littered with journals and books, as I’ve had an ongoing love affair with the written word since I was about seven-years-old. It appears my degree in journalism only exacerbated the situation. When Evelyn introduced her line of bold and beautiful journals, I knew it would be love at first sight! Her lovely Peonies journal was made for me, I think. Could there be a more perfect space to jot down big dreams and grand schemes for a peony-loving writer? I think not.
Rumor has it that Evelyn is adding a slew of bold new prints and journals just in time for fall! She was kind enough to give me a little sneak peek and I can safely say that y’all will adore them. Evelyn’s fall collection will be debuting in her shop September 2nd, so be sure to hop over there for your fill of colorful blooms, cheeky patterns and a healthy dose of vibrant hues! xo
