There’s absolutely nothing better than celebrating a custom brand design launch with my incredible clients, and today I’m over the moon to introduce you to the new visual brand + custom Showit website for the Painted Primrose! A bespoke floral design studio based in Boulder, Colorado, the Painted Primrose is a full service floral studio specializing in one-of-a-kind wedding flowers. When the owner, Sabia, reached out about fully re-branding her business last year, I knew from the get-go that we’d be able to create pure magic together.
And, although I may be a bit biased, I believe we created magic and more through her wholly custom logo, floral illustrations, robust Showit 5 website, and elevated stationery suite!
In fact, here’s what Sabia has to say about her new custom visual identity,
“[My new brand is] gorgeous and I believe it makes me really stand out from my competitors! Having this beautiful brand is helping me know my worth and stick with the pricing I know is what I need to charge. I also have a clearer understanding of what makes me different as a wedding florist.”
Friend, if you’re a fan of rose gold foil, highly detailed floral illustrations, and elevated type, then keep scrolling for one brand reveal you won’t want to miss!
When Sabia first reached out to re-brand her studio, she expressed a desire to craft an identity that reflected her creativity in floral design, spoke to a higher end ideal client, and positioned her as an expert in her industry. She purchased the Painted Primrose studio several years ago, but she felt like it was time to truly take that brand and make it her own.
Together, we focused on crafting an elevated color palette packed with high contrast shades of emerald green, sage, blush, and a pop of rose gold. Although we wanted to create a feminine aesthetic, we also wanted to reflect a touch of wildness through deeper hues for an added cheeky punch of personality.
When it came to designing her logo, I focused on pulling in an elevated san serif font with gorgeous, detailed ligatures that instantly spoke for themselves. Rather than pulling in generic type pairings, I wanted to highlight clean-yet-style-centric letterforms that would take Sabia’s logo to the next level.
I partnered her gorgeous logo with a handy slew of alternate marks that translated beautifully throughout her website and as a custom wax seal to further elevate her stationery suite.
Speaking of, we left no detail unnoticed when it came time to design Sabia’s custom stationery suite! I pulled in her custom floral illustration as an accent on both her business cards, branded note cards, as well as her envelope liners.
From there, we sprinkled in touches of rose gold foil for a metallic detail that makes the entire suite pop even more! You should just see these beauties sparkle in real life, friend! 😍
But the fun didn’t stop at her stationery suite! We focused on building a robust online home for her brand through her custom Showit 5 website so she could better serve her ideal couples through this powerful initial touchpoint.
On her website, you’ll see her custom brand elements echoed throughout every page, as well as jaw dropping, beautiful images of her work in action. But Sabia’s website is more than just a gorgeous online home for her work. We also tailored her website to include practical elements like an interactive estimate calculator that enables potential clients to instantly receive a custom quote!
We strategically designed Sabia’s website to thoughtfully guide her potential couples through her process, approach to floral design, investment info, and more to ensure she’s receiving only the most qualified inquiries.
From there, we made sure to wow those wonderful inquiring couples with a custom process guide that educates them further on just how they can work with Sabia and the entire Painted Primrose team! Together, Sabia and I decided to turn these guides into tangible magazines her couples can flip through, and I personally love how they came to life.
In Sabia’s own words, she shared…
“I’m so excited to grow with this brand and see what effects it has. It feels good to have a ‘real’ brand that is strong and robust and serves the needs of my business. I know all my brides are going to fall in love with it!”
Cheers to a brand that your sweet couples can truly fall in love with, Sabia! It’s been such an honor to partner with her over the past few months to build such a gorgeous visual identity that reflects her creativity, aesthetic, and speaks clearly to her ideal couples.
