Oh hey there, strangers! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I hope y’all have had the most restful, joyful and treat-filled holiday season ever. Our holiday was filled with plenty of family time, cocoa sipping and festive jammers but after a few weeks away, it’s always nice to get back to work feeling renewed and full of focus!
Although I’m not technically back in the studio until January 7th, I am currently bundled up in beautiful Staunton, Virginia with over 80 incredibly talented and passionate women for the first ever Creative at Heart Conference. My fellow MTH alums + sweet friends Taylor Schuman of Letters of Grace Calligraphy and Kat Schmoyer of Dear Sweetheart Events dreamed up this incredible conference for creative business owners and big dreamers alike last fall, and it has been such a joy to watch them bring their vision to life! I’m honored to be sharing my story and speaking to a sold out crowd of bright-eyed attendees on the importance of pursuing a balanced life as a hardworking boss lady this afternoon!
Small business ownership can be a complicated and sometimes lonely road to navigate, which is why I absolute adore the heart behind Creative at Heart. This one-of-a-kind conference focuses on bringing together creatives from all walks of life to foster community, buff up on business know-how, and inspire great big dreams. Our January session sold out in record time but I have it on good authority that Creative at Heart 2.0 is already in the works! This is one event you won’t want to miss, friend, so be sure to get up with all the amazing news over at creativeatheartconference.com.
Now I’m off to soak up my last full day surrounded by a group of amazing women, learning from and teaching with some of the best in the business! Cheers to pursuing a life well-lived, friends.
