Happy Friday, friends! Today I’m delighted to introduce y’all to Pixel Paper Hearts, a modern design shop run by brother/sister team Charisse and Wayne. With an eye for typography and a flair for bold, minimalistic design, these two carry a line of paper products and lifestyle pieces that are anything but ordinary. Charisse was kind enough to send one of their Joie de Vivre graphic tees my way, and I immediately knew it would pair perfectly with my favorite springtime cardigan!
“Joie de vivre” is French for “an exuberant enjoyment of life,” which is such an apt description for this time of year. With winter giving way to sunny skies, warmer temperatures and young blooms, spring is perhaps one of the most joyous seasons! After long months filled with oversized sweaters and bulky layers, it feels refreshing to trade my wool blends for this little cotton number and a bright cardigan. I personally love how this graphic lettering adds a pop of contrast to this feminine floral print!
What first started as a small collection of art prints has since blossomed into a full line of paper goods, apparel and home decor! Ever since discovering their passion for graphic design in high school, Charisse and Wayne have continued to refine their skills, creating new products that are in line with their fresh, modern aesthetic. I love having the opportunity to spot this graphic tee around town and support a small Canadian shop simultaneously! Especially one that reminds me to soak up the joyful exuberance all around me. Thanks, Charisse and Wayne, for creating such fun goodies for all to enjoy! Keep up the great work.
