There’s something about the weekend that just demands comfy layers, cozy textures and fuss-free accessories. Armon and I cherish the precious moments we have together when we’re not working, so our weekends are for late brunches, bookstore exploring and constant hand-holding. Somehow, a glittering stack of bracelets sounds a little counterproductive to the latter part of that agenda. Of course I want to look like I put a little effort into my ensemble, just not too much effort, you know? So when I found this effortlessly chic graphic tee from Cake for Breakfast + Kal Barteski, I knew this piece would be on constant rotation this fall.
Have you heard about Cake for Breakfast yet? Designer and all-around boss lady Tessa MacCormac is seriously on top of the chic graphic tee game! From her signature line of ampersand tees to her most recent London Calling collection, you’re sure to find pieces that are easily styled, comfy as can be and seriously feminine. Tessa has created a brand experience that celebrates feeling your best, throwing confetti, pursuing a life well-lived, and eating cake for breakfast, of course. Based on those core values, I think the CFB girl + the b is for bonnie dream customer could be besties!
Fun fact – I actually spent the fall semester of junior year at Baylor studying abroad and working in London. It was the best, most adventurous season of my college career and I will cherish those memories forever. It’s no secret that London has my heart and I’m determined to one day call that magical city home again! Until then, you can find me pairing this “Cheerio” tee with my favorite cozy layers (or perhaps a flirty A-line skirt!) reminiscing about my mornings spent in charming cafes across the pond.
