Happy Friday, sweet friends! Today, I have someone very special to introduce to y’all – our newest member of the b is for bonnie team, Karis! Karis joined us this month as our Office Coordinator, and is quickly making our FaceTime Friday check-ins my new favorite thing.

Tell me about yourself:

Hi there, I’m Karis (like Paris with a “K”)! Most days you can find me in yoga pants, working in my office with a coffee in my hand and our goldendoodle pup at my feet. When I’m not working you can find me traveling, having a brunch date with a friend, browsing all the pretty things at Anthropologie, or staying in with my sweet husband watching Netflix. I believe in serving others wholeheartedly and I’m passionate about encouraging creative entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams!

What are you currently reading?

I’m an audiobook gal – so I’m currently listening to Make It Happen by Lara Casey and The Nesting Place by Myquillyn Smith.

What’s inspiring you lately?

The new year and all the possibilities and adventures to come! I’ve got a new creative project in the works that I am so excited to finish developing!

What is your favorite part of being a boss lady?

So many things! I absolutely love getting to know other boss ladies and share this adventure together, I love working from home and the flexibility that it brings, and I love getting to serve my clients like family! It’s pretty wonderful.

I couldn’t live without…

Pretty stationary. I’m obsessed with paper products like notebooks, colored pens, thank you cards, you name it! I also couldn’t live without 17hats, the Sunrise calendar app, the Wunderlist app, the “French Cafe” station on Pandora, coffee and candles on my desk, and Instagram!

What are your favorite Instagram accounts to follow right now?

What’s your go-to beverage?

Coffee or hot tea with honey.

If you could pass on one piece of encouragement to a fellow boss lady, what would you tell her?

You might not ever feel 100% ready for something new. There seems to be this idea that “If I just learn a little more, do a little more, wait a little longer…” then everything would fall together just perfectly. Sometimes if you have a dream and you want to make it happen, you just have to dive in!
