When summer first kicked off, I had all the yay feels! I was so excited to spend three months hanging out with my favorite guy while he took a break from full time classes, and I had grand visions of summertime adventures in my head. But then reality set in, the emails piled up and the guilt took a heavy hold on my heart.
How was I supposed to enjoy this thing called “summer” when I run a full time business? How was I supposed to be fully present for my husband when he was home during my workday without feeling like I was breaking some unspoken boss lady rule? I struggled with a lot of guilt, comparison and bad feels these past few months, friends.
